As the son of the iconic duo Sony Bono and Cher, Chaz Bono, born Chastity Sun Bono, went through a rather mediatized transformation when, back in 2008, decided to start the transition from female to male. Chaz, who currently works as a writer, LGBT advocate, musician and occasional actor, was the first transgender man that competed in the US version of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. The now 48 year-old Chaz completed his transition in 2010 and since then, he has been dedicating a considerable portion of his time to gay and transgender causes.
