According to recent research, low-fat milk contains less fat, but the eliminated fat is replaced with sugar. Registered dietitian Nicole Anziani confirms that drinking low-fat milk has almost the same adverse effects as drinking regular milk. She advises patients to consider high-fat milk as it reduces people’s chances of contracting diabetes.
