It takes a special kind of family to adopt a pet goat, but an Arkansas family is alive because they did! In 2017, the Bruce family was saved by their brand new baby pet goat, Speedy. Abigail Bruce was gifted Speedy for her 10th birthday; two days later, Speedy woke Abigail up by stepping on her back in the middle of the night. When Abigail wiped the sleep out of her eyes, she realized there was smoke everywhere, and Speedy had just saved her life. Abigail ended up waking her parents and vacating the house immediately.
