2. Dolphin Bodyguards
Dolphins are known as one of the most intelligent creatures to ever roam the oceans. For a group of four swimmers from New Zealand, dolphins have become their heroes too! In 2004, the group of four, including a man and his daughter, encountered a pod of bottlenose dolphins. Entranced by the majestic creatures, the group didn’t notice the great white shark also circling them. The pod kept circling the humans tighter and tighter, guarding the group for nearly an hour until the great white lost interest and left. If the dolphins hadn’t protected the group of swimmers, they’d have surely been shark bait!
