8. The Doberman Babysitter
Dogs seem to be the most loyal and sacrificial animals on this list of heroic animals. A Doberman pinscher named Kahn saved a 17 month old baby after only a week with his new family. The Australian family had just adopted Kahn when he saved the toddler, Charlotte’s, life. Kahn grabbed Charlotte by her diaper and tossed her to the side while out on a walk with his new family. While the parents looked on in confusion by the act, Kahn cried out. He was bitten by a venomous brown snake! If Kahn had not pushed Charlotte out of the way, she surely would’ve been bit. All ends well for Kahn and his family after a dose of anti-venom and a quick recovery.
