Another actress best associated with Alfred Hitchcock and his films, Tippi Hedren has been blacklisted longer than millenials have been alive! Hedren organically began her career as a fashion model, but after being spotted by the famous filmmaker, Hitchcock, was quickly scooped up to work exclusively on his projects. She ended up starring in two of his most famous masterpieces, “The Birds” and “Marnie”, showing promise as a new actress in Hollywood. However, she was ousted just as quickly as she debuted. Hitchcock pulled a Weinstein and made several sexual advances on Hedren, none of them reciprocated. The artful director decided he’d rather not use Hedren as the budding actress she was, and iced her contract for two years before ultimately selling it.
