3. Isaiah Washington

Another “Grey’s Anatomy” star was blacklisted early on in the series, but not because he was a menace on set. Isaiah Washington was canceled before social media was even popular because of his outwardly homophobic demeanor and remarks. A few members of the “Gray’s Anatomy” cast were queer at the time and spoke up about Washington. They accused Washington of using homophobic slurs while talking to coworkers on the set. This eventually got Washington suspended from the show. Once the hit show won a Golden Globe, Washington took it a step further and used the same slur for the same coworker, but this time publicly. His actions led to his firing, and he hasn’t been hired for anything prominent since.
