Like Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen was blacklisted by Hollywood for his extensive substance abuse problem. The “Two and a Half Men” star reportedly struggled with both excessive drinking and drug usage even on set. This led to a contentious work environment for many of the cast and crew. After he was fired from “Two and a Half Men”, and consequently replaced by Ashton Kutcher, Sheen went on a media tour to tell all. While on “Good Morning America”, Sheen confessed he was mentally unstable, exhibiting classic signs of mania. The unhinged Sheen sealed his fate then. Casting agents now avoid him for most projects.
