Alex Rodriguez came under fire when he was accused of pitch tipping. It was reported that he would tell the pitchers of the opposing team when the pitches were coming, and they would do the same in return for him.  Although Rodriguez is an easy target for media malice, this claim is one that is quite disturbing.  Teams in the MLB often play each other more than once, which makes it easy to believe that there are many other players who are doing the same thing as Rodriguez.
