As a baseball player, you’re often asked to write on a baseball. Many lovers of the game ask players to autograph their balls. Detroit Tigers player, Kenny Rogers, is no stranger to writing on balls, but not for the reasons you may think. During a game, a camera caught some markings on a ball pitched by Rogers. The incident was covered up, saying it was “dirt mixed with rosin.” Not everyone believed the explanation, and the St. Louis Cardinals accused Rogers of foul play.
