The end of World War II might have been the turning point for most people, but the aftermath of war brought with it financial strain to the U.S. working class. Struggling to feed their four kids and being served an eviction notice, Lucille Chalifoux and her husband Ray decided to try and sell their four children. The children eventually got adopted into three different homes, and not much is known about what happened to their parents.
