Lynda Carter, famously known as the original Wonder Woman, was crowned Miss World USA in 1972 and was the runners up in the Miss World pageant the same year. Her superstar status and involvement in DC’s Wonder Woman might have gotten the best of her as she battled alcohol addiction during the ’80s and ’90s before finally going to rehab. With Lynda boasting more than 20 years of sobriety, she is today a well-known health and well-being speaker and recently got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
