Like most electronics, headphones require quality parts to work properly; if you’re picking up a pair at the dollar store, chances are they were made with the bare minimum. Before they break, and they will, consumers will hear a noticeable difference between quality headphones and a dollar store pair. Cheap headphones often sound crackly and muffled, and typically have trouble pairing with your device of choice. It’s better to spend the money on a pricier pair of earbuds before ever buying them at the dollar store.
