3. Nausea

Nausea and liver damage go hand in hand. Some people experience occasional migraines, complete with extreme nausea, when their liver is over-loaded due to alcohol consumption or heavy foods, while others deal with permanent nausea due to irreversible damage. If you are feeling nauseous without having food poisoning or another clear cause, in combination with dealing with a swollen abdomen or extreme fatigue, it is a high possibility that you are struggling with an underlying liver disease. Moreover, loss of appetite and weight loss can also indicate liver damage, which is why any change in your diet should be mentioned at your GP appointments.
