Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger also had a nasty divorce that still occasionally makes waves in the media today. The couple met while filming together in 1991’s “The Marrying Man”. While Kim Basinger didn’t fall in love immediately with Alec Baldwin, the two were engaged after the release of their second film together “The Getaway” in 1994. Baldwin and Basinger quickly became one of Hollywood’s premiere couples, and welcomed their daughter, Ireland, in 1995. However, the two separated in 2000, and finalized their divorce in 2002. This began one of Hollywood’s hardest fought custody battle of Ireland. According to Baldwin, this time was “so painful, I felt like I was staring off a cliff for six years.”
