This former Beatle was forced to shell out $24 million to his ex wife as a result of this next nasty divorce. Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills got married in 2002. The two welcomed a daughter, Beatrice, and then separated in 2006. They publicly committed to keeping the divorce proceedings amicable and fair. However, that quickly dissolved when Heather Mills was accused of marrying Paul McCartney for the money. Her legal team argued in court that McCartney was worth more than he was saying, and a good portion of their divorce proceedings revolved around disproving that statement. Although McCartney made no comment after the divorce was finally settled in his favor, Heather Mills said the outcome “was an incredible result in the end to secure mine and Beatrice’s future”.
