The Queen of Disco was a five time Grammy Award winner whose music inspired millions across the world. Not only that, but she was one of those rare artists with amazing staying power. Four decades after her rise to prominence in the 70s, she was still performing, being played on the radio, acting, and exerting an influence on the world of music. She was still recording in 2012 when she passed away, and some of her remixes were released post-humously in 2013.
