The lead singer of Nirvana revolutionized both rock and pop with his overarching influences. However there was a dark side to his music: it was inspired by deep personal pain he experienced through his life, eventually culminating in his suicide at the peak of the band’s success. Had he remained with us, he would no doubt still be one of the great musical voices shaping our world today.
