The Blue Whale
If you ever thought that dinosaurs were enormous, you’re yet to see the blue whale. Boasting a phenomenal weight of about 185 metric tons and a length of 110 feet, the blue whale is the largest of all animals to have ever lived on earth. To put this into perspective, the largest blue whale has a weight equivalent to 40 elephant bulls, each weighing 4.5 metric tons. This means that their tongues alone can weigh as much as one elephant, and the heart can weigh upwards of 180 Kgs.
