7. Billie Joe Amstrong
Billie Joe Amstrong is the lead singer and main songwriter of the rock band Greenday. In a 1995 interview, Billie admitted to being bisexual, and that society’s judgemental tendencies make it hard for people born bisexual to come out. Billie went on to write a song in 1994 called Coming clean, which explores his journey to understanding his sexuality. Although Billie no longer wants people to meddle with his sexuality, he maintains that he’s still bisexual but loves his wife too much to continue exploring the other side of the fence.
