The Harry Potter star might believe in magic, but he surely does not believe in religion. In an interview, the actor stated, “There was never [religious] faith in the house. I think of myself as being Jewish and Irish, despite the fact that I’m English.” Daniel stated that they were “Christmas tree Jews.” His disbelief in a being that is God converted him to atheism. Radcliffe, in an interview with the New York Post, “I don’t expect there to be a God and an afterlife – I would be pleasantly surprised if there was.”
