Cher is anything but shy. Her bold and fearless personality screamed at the 1974 Met Gala. Her dear old friend Bob Mackie the designer, literally sprayed the dress on after she wore it. So it gave the illusion of beads on the skin type of look. Total genius. Considered one of the most famous naked dresses for all times, the dress was made of sheer cloth and beads. Further additions were white feathers at the sleeves and around the skirt.
