Forgotten Villagers
People use different ways to remember their loved ones. While some can be extremely creepy, it proves that the world is full of different cultures, and it’s up to us to be as inclusive as possible. In Japan, the Tokushima village faces extinction after many inhabitants either moved away or passed on. Famous Japanese artist, Tsukimi Ayano, came up with a brilliant idea of placing life-sized dolls in strategic places in the village. Google street view captured this couple’s image in a bus stop who appeared to be casually staring back at the camera.
