The release of Stephen King’s It in 2017 received praise and broke multiple box office records. Bill Skarsgard played the main character in the film, Pennywise. His sinister portrayal of the character was hard to escape offset. The actor found it difficult to detach from the mindset of the murdering clown and felt relieved when production for the movie ended. Unfortunately, his struggles did not stop there. Skarsgard shared in an interview that he still had nightmares about the character.
