The month-long renovation of the Rose Garden included swapping out plants and trees, but Melania also added a walkway in the Rose Garden. Not just any walkway, but a 3-foot limestone walkway. The walking path borders the central lawn. The was the most noticeable change in the Rose Garden. The reasoning behind the walkway was to make the Rose Garden disability-friendly.
