The Scottish musician goes by the name Adam Richard Wills when he isn’t being a world-famous deejay, Calvin Harris. The name change was his decision, as he said in an interview in 2009, “My first single was more of a soul track, and I thought Calvin Harris sounded a bit more racially ambiguous. I thought people might not know if I was black or not. After that, I was stuck with it.” Most people were not aware that the producer goes by a stage name.
