Surprisingly, one of the most used rooms in the house is one of the least lavish. The Obamas wanted to make their personal family den more of a comfortable lounge than an extravagantly designed space. Located on the ground floor, this den is in the perfect location for a quiet retreat when the rest of the household gets chaotic and noisey. Also on this floor is the second kitchen, separate laundry, media room and wet bar.
