Jerry Lee Lewis is an 85-year-old American singer and pianist more commonly known by his nickname ‘The Killer.’ He has been recognized as ‘rock & roll’s first great wild man and one of the most influential pianists of the twentieth century’. He made his first recording in 1956 at Sun Records for ‘Crazy Arms,’ which sold 300 000 copies, but it was his 1957 hit ‘Whole lotta ‘Shakin Goin On’ that shot him to worldwide fame. He has a dozen gold records in both rock and country. In 1989, his life was chronicled in the movie ‘Great Balls of Fire’.
