Rattlesnakes are large snakes full of venom in their bites and can be seen in different parts of America. After cutting inside their rattle, it was found hollow. The part consists of keratin and can be seen at the tail end of the serpent. These segments collide with each other as the rattlesnake moves its tail around which causes vibrations in the muscles. That is the reason for the bone-chilling sound of ‘rattling’.
