No Alcohol, No Peace
It’s hard to imagine a world without alcohol, but for 13 years, Americans were starved of the substances. In 1920, a clause was added to the U.S. constitution barring manufacturing, sale, and transportation of alcohol and alcohol-related products. We all know that when things get banned, the black market thrives. So, although some Americans got their fix, they had to cough up quite the amount. This led to countrywide protests with citizens demanding the ban be lifted. Americans are experts at voicing their concerns, and by the looks of this picture, it seems protesting has been with us since time immemorial.
