10. Calm, Cool, Collected.
Despite looking statuesque and quite imposing, Great Danes are one of the best-natured and peaceful dogs around. While they hold such a high stature, they are known to be very gentle and affectionate. Great Danes have a natural desire to keep others happy and at peace as well, which makes them fairly easy pets. Due to their size, Dane’s rarely feel the need to prove their strength giving them a natural inclination to remain calm and relatively quiet. Their very appearance makes any potential hostile situation quite clear to any potential threat, meaning that all the Great Dane needs to do is take a glance to keep those around them safe. Funnily, some Danes actually wish they were, or even truly believe they are, lapdogs and will try and try again to snuggle, even if they’re 4-times your size.
