Cyclist’s Right of Way
More and more countries are encouraging people to take up cycling to combat global warming and keep their people in shape. With this in mind, it would make sense to make bike riding easier by reserving riding lanes and urging motorists to give riders the right of way. However, this sign is a classic contradictory statement. The statement ‘give cyclist space’ is a grand gesture, yet the signage is dangerously blocking the bike lane. The person who put up that sign clearly didn’t understand the intended message.
