The 2000 action film had some of the best action scenes ever filmed. It definitely couldn’t have been easy to film all those fighting scenes and make it look realistic. The costumes in the film were also fairly realistic. There’s one scene that had some questionable wardrobe decisions that weren’t as noticeable to viewers. In a fighting scene, Russel Crowe was spotted wearing lycra shorts. As you would assume, gladiators did not wear lycra shorts in Ancient Rome. It’s safe to say we are glad they were invented.
