6. Ukraine
While European countries generally score well in HDI and GDP metrics, Ukraine is an exception. The quality of life in the country is steadily declining as well as its GDP. This indicates a clear lack of retirement facilities and entertainment outlets. Pensions are few and far between, as are safety nets. While healthcare provisions are satisfactory, don’t expect it to be equitable. Due to lack of investment, the infrastructure is not well built. Moreover, Ukraine is known for bribery and corruption.
