From Christ the Redeemer to the famous Samba Dance, and to even the picanha steak, Brazil is loaded with gorgeous sights, beautiful cultures, and delicious local cuisines. However, recent events have taken away the country’s charm. In the past 6 years, around 40% of expats have left the country. The reason? Rampant inflation and corruption. Coupled with high-interest rates, maintaining your finances without sinking into poverty is a real challenge. With multiple lavish expenditures on major sporting events, Brazil is slowly destroying its public sector infrastructure as well.
