12. The Hole on a Lollipop Stick

Have you ever wondered why lollipop sticks come with a hole on top of the stick? It’s not that noticeable, unless you polish off the candy at the top! Some say that it’s purpose is a playful one, which is to be used as a whistle, in case you don’t know how to whistle! But the hole’s actual purpose is to hold the candy in place.
