Definitely one of the scariest bridges ever constructed by mankind is Japan’s Eshima Ohashi Bridge. Almost all would agree that this is definitely a terror inducing bridge just by the looks of it! With a height of 144 feet and a 6.1% gradient slope, this roller coaster of a bridge is hailed as one of the most thrilling and spectacular bridges in the world, as well as the largest rigid frame bridge. It’s steep slope is also designed to allow for ships passing underneath the bridge. Looking like the highway to heaven, as some would call it, it’s a wonder how drivers of trucks and cars have the courage to cross it!
