Listed as one of the scenic
wonders of the Pacific Northwest, the scenic view of Deception Pass Bridge in
the Washington State definitely does inspire terror. The bridge serves as a
connection between Washington State’s Fidalgo Island and Whidbey Island and
stands 180 feet high above the water, definitely a height that instills fright!
Locals used to travel between islands by ferry boats way before the bridge was
constructed. Constructed in the 1930s, the Deception Pass Bridge certainly
improved travel time between the islands. But with one end of the bridge
covered in fog, it unarguably evokes fear when you’re driving along it!
