One of the most prolific country music artists of all time even supports Donald Trump. Loretta Lynn is known for some of the most recognizable country songs of the last century, including “You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man)”, “One’s on the Way”, and “Coal Miner’s Daughter”. Lynn’s support for Republican presidents began with Richard Nixon, after becoming the first solo female country artist to perform at the White House in 1971. Since then, she’s campaigned for George H. W. Bush and renounced the legalization of gay marriage. During an interview in 2016, Lynn affirmed her faith in Trump. “I just think he’s the only one who’s going to turn this country around.”
