Before Hollywood’s more eccentric Tom Cruise opened up about his involvement in the church of scientology, the actor starred in a film that would regretfully end his marriage with Mimi Rogers. “Days of Thunder” is a classic among car film fans, but the hit movie would play a huge part in getting Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise together. The couple were so publicly into each other while filming, Rogers ended up filing for divorce just one month in production. Kidman and Cruise were then able to go public about their whirlwind romance while promoting their movie. The two got married less than a year after initially meeting.
