His comedic performances include roles in “Wedding Crashers”, “Zoolander”, and “Old School”. What’s made Hollywood executives blacklist this comedic genius? He’s not great while acting in dramas. Vaughn essentially played the same character in films for a couple decades before deciding to expand his acting prowess. When trying to perform for more serious roles, the actor came up short. It’s argued that his terrible performance on the hit anthology series “True Detective” is ultimately why the series was canceled by HBO.
