Sibling Rivalry
Being the only kid sure packs its own set of privileges. You get to enjoy your parent’s undivided attention, and you never have to share your toys with anyone. Although some kids are thrilled when a new member joins the family, others are less enthusiastic when their new sibling steals their thunder. Kids are often worried that once a newborn is welcomed into the family, their parents will love them a little less than they used to. Hopefully, the kid in the background will change his attitude as the baby grows up.
