7. Trump Tower Imagined
One of the most famous symbols of Donald Trump’s success and power is his Trump Tower. While Trump made a few business mistakes, he also made several lasting business successes. He aimed to alter New York’s skyline with each success. In 1983, Donald Trump got his wish. The famous Trump Tower was approved and subsequently completed that year. The photograph above shows Trump proudly showing off his namesake tower. He supposedly boasted that the Fifth Avenue complex would house luxurious apartments, one of which would sell for $11 million.
