After several years, Donald Trump successfully graduated from the New York Military Academy. As a throwback Thursday social media post, Trump recently posted the above picture with the caption, “#TBT Myself with mother and father at New York Military Academy. See, I can be very military. High rank!” Some political analysts assume the caption is a dig at pundits teasing Trump for his lack of military service, especially during the Vietnam War. During the war, Trump received five total deferments for the draft, including four times for being in college. His last deferment was due to a rare medical diagnosis of bone spurs in his heels.
