Elizabeth Warren has been serving as the senior United States senator since 2013. She has been vocal about issues such as economic opportunity, consumer protection, and the social safety net in her position. Warren has been a driving force in the Democratic party. The current liberal icon switched to the Democrat Party in the mid-1990s. Before she switched parties, Elizabeth was a conservative. She chose the Republican party due to their pro-business beliefs. Since switching parties, she has gone on to be a candidate in the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries.
