English designer Tom Dixon was inspired by Dutch architectural advancement and bought an 80-year-old water tower in 2005. The tower was initially built in the 1930s as a disaster management water tank for the fire-prone gasometer just a few blocks away. Moreover, the tower stands at 60 feet high and gives a splendid view of the adjacent Ladbroke Grove. With three floors, an elevator, and a 360-degree living room on the third floor, the project cost Tom an estimated $1.25 million.
