Lyndon B. Johnson was captured taking the oath of office in Dallas on November 22, 1963. He was definitely feeling mixed emotions at the time due to the assassination of John. F. Kennedy. Just 98 minutes after the assassination of John. F. Kennedy, Lydon B. Johnson was sworn in as president of the United States. Although it may have seemed like everything was chaotic from the outside, the photograph tells a different story. The switchover was controlled and peacefully executed.
