This famous photo of Richard Nixon and Elvis Presley was captured at a meeting in the White House on December 21, 1970. The picture was taken in the Oval Office because it was the most requested photograph in the U.S National Archives. It’s no surprise considering how famous the two men in the photo were at the time. Elvis Presley had just made a successful comeback in his music career. Nixon was pre the Watergate scandal and was extremely popular.
