7. The Red Tramway

During military parades and public celebrations, the North Korean government often releases footage of its people using sophisticated public means of transport to attend these celebrations. We are not saying that these means of transport don’t exist; we’re merely pointing to the fact that the common North Korean is more likely to use the red tramway or walk than use what the government shows the rest of the world. The tramway is congested, worn out, and even as congested as they are, there are still soldiers seated in the front seats.
