The blue-ringed octopus is barely a golf ball’s size but packs a venom so poisonous that only one sting is enough to kill more than 20 humans. Some octopus species make for a very tasty meal, but this is one species you don’t want to eat. They are mainly found in coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian oceans, and the blue rings are used to warn predators that they are not to be messed with. If aggravated, they release lethal venom that will leave you paralyzed or dead within minutes.
